Team Brick Republicans and the Brick Republican Organization both operate in Brick Township Republican politics, but they are not the same organization.
The Brick Republican Organization, commonly known as Brick GOP, is the established local Republican organization in Brick Township. Its website describes it as the Brick Republican Organization and promotes its work around local Republican candidates, county committee, events, elected officials, and party organizing.
Team Brick Republicans is different. Team Brick is an independent Brick First Republican reform movement built around one principle:
Brick comes first.
We believe local Republican leadership should answer to the residents of Brick Township first — not political bosses, county machines, insiders, donors, or outside power structures.

Team Brick is not built around one candidate, one office, or one election cycle. It is a long-term local movement based on the belief that Brick Township deserves Republican candidates and leaders who put the township first.
Our guiding question is simple:
Is this good for the people of Brick Township?
If the answer is no, we will not support it just because a political organization, county boss, or party insider says we should.

The Brick Republican Organization is the established Republican organization in Brick Township. It is commonly associated with BrickGOP.org and its Facebook presence under Brick GOP / Brick Township Republican Party. Its website describes the organization as focused on organizing, mobilizing, supporting Republican candidates, and fighting for issues such as lower taxes, safer neighborhoods, better roads, and overdevelopment concerns.
Local media has also referred to the group as the Brick Township Republican Club when covering candidate recruitment and local Republican activity.
Team Brick recognizes that many good Republicans may be involved with or supportive of the Brick Republican Organization. Our disagreement is not with ordinary Republican voters, volunteers, or residents. Our concern is with how local Republican politics should operate and who it should answer to.
Team Brick Republicans believes Brick needs independent local Republican leadership.
We are not interested in being controlled by county machine politics. We are not interested in backroom deals, closed circles, or candidates chosen because of political loyalty instead of qualifications, transparency, and commitment to Brick residents.
Team Brick believes Republican candidates in Brick should be screened, questioned, prepared, and held accountable by the people of Brick Township.
Local government should not be about who gets rewarded, who gets protected, or who gets permission from the political establishment.
It should be about who will serve Brick best.
